Ready Since 2016

Founded in 2016 in New Orleans, Ready has pursued our mission to close the gap in healthcare, making it more accessible to positively impact the communities we serve.

At Ready, we strive to provide a convenient and affordable solution to reduce health costs, while partnering with traditional healthcare systems to deliver more positive health outcomes to those who need it most.

Our patient-facing team of Responders and clinicians care for the communities of New York City, Baltimore, the National Capital Region, Las Vegas, Reno, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houma, and Shreveport seven days a week through our in-home, on-demand care model.

Stay where you are. Health is on the way.

Ready provides quick and convenient non-emergent care when and where you need it most. Our local Responders will come to you, perform relevant diagnostic testing, and set up a video chat with a clinician who can provide immediate care.

How Ready works

Getting care from us is simple:

1. Book a visit

Book a visit online and tell us how you’re feeling. We’ll send a Responder directly to you any day of the week — including holidays.

2. Relax while a Responder comes to you

Our trained healthcare professionals will come to you. They will notify you when they are on the way and when you can expect them to arrive.

3. Get personalized care

Your Responder comes to you and works with you on your immediate health needs. Then they'll set up a video chat with a clinician who can provide a wide range of health care services, including the diagnosis and management of urgent, chronic, and complex health problems, health promotion, and disease prevention. Ready is available to assist you in any way we can wherever you need us.

We think we’re great, but don’t just take our word for it

Cost and Insurance

Cost

A visit with Ready costs roughly the same as a walk-in urgent care appointment. You can reach out to your insurance provider directly for details on your coverage. The amount that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance plan. If you have a deductible, you will need to meet it before your insurance will cover any costs. If you do not have insurance or otherwise elect to pay out of pocket, the flat rate for a visit is $200.

Insurance

Ready partners with many leading insurance companies, including traditional Medicaid and Medicare in most states. We will confirm your insurance coverage when you schedule a visit online. As you book your appointment, you will enter your insurance information, and Ready will check to see if we accept your insurance.
